Acacium Group, a global healthcare and life science company with headquarters in London, has acquired Draper-based Sumo Medical Staffing, a physician placement agency with U.S-wide coverage. Acacium Group provides services and staffing operations across the U.S, the U.K., Europe, Asia and Australia. Sumo Medical Staffing is a locum tenens agency that places physicians and advanced practice providers in temporary and permanent positions across the U.S. in specialties including psychiatry, internal medicine, hospitalist, family medicine, and other medical professions.

Sumo will continue to be led by its{mprestriction ids="1,3"} founding owners, Jeff Parker, Kevin Anderson and Boyd Waters. Somo will operate as part of Acacium Group’s U.S. Healthcare Staffing Division under CEO Christopher Brink.
