American Fork-based digital marketing agency Big Leap has announced the acquisition of Leadgenix, also a digital marketing agency based in Provo. The merger is the culmination of a search by Big Leap owners to find an agency with like-minded owners who cared about growing the company, according to a release from the company.
Founded in 2008, Leadgenix was led by Dan Posner, who will join Big Leap as the vice president of business development. Under Posner’s leadership, Leadgenix found particular success with white-label and franchise partnerships.
“Big Leap and Leadgenix were a perfect match, as each company’s mission focuses on high-quality work and viewing their relationships with clients as partnerships,” said Big Leap CEO and founder Bryan Phelps. “Leadgenix is a great agency with a great team and great clients. Their team brought some additional expertise to round out our services, particularly with social media, local SEO and content marketing. Their experience working with other agencies and white-label partners has been invaluable to us as we expand those offerings.”
Big Leap now has about 40 employees and nearly 150 clients. Prominent clients include Domo, Extra Space Storage, Deseret News, Workfront and BambooHR. The company’s immediate goals are to continue offering best-in-class services for SEO, paid media, content marketing, local search and social media, the release said.
Big Leap COO Tim Eyre said, “Bringing the Leadgenix team into the Big Leap family has really helped us round out our marketing expertise. The acquisition has already provided us with some big wins for our clients and employees, both existing and new as part of the acquisition.”
