The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2016 Social Entrepreneur category winner is pre-selected and this year’s award will go to Eye Care 4 Kids where Joseph Carbone is president and CEO. Eye Care 4 Kids is a nonprofit organization committed to providing high-quality eye care and vision education to low-income, visually impaired children and underserved families. In the past 14 years, it has provided professional eye care and surgical services to nearly 100,000 visually impaired, underserved children through school-based clinics, international humanitarian trips, mobile eye care clinics anditd free-standing clinic in Salt Lake City.

Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Overall National Award winner, will be announced at the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year national awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on Nov. 19.
