" Mountain America Credit Union, based in Sandy, has promoted Nanette Graviet to senior vice president and chief risk officer and named Kelly Albiston as executive vice president and chief technology officer. Graviet will oversee governance, risk, compliance and legal, as well as Mountain America's risk management strategy. She will be responsible for overseeing the compliance management system and collaborating on all compliance risk-related tasks. Graviet began her career at Mountain America 31 years ago as a part-time teller and advanced to lead teams in mortgage sales, member services, training, technology, public relations, quality control and compliance. In November 2022, Graviet joined the executive leadership team as the senior vice president of enterprise risk management. Prior to her credit union career, she joined the U.S. Army Reserve in high school, completing basic and advanced training after graduation. Albiston will lead Mountain America's digital innovation and technology strategy. He has expertise in digital transformation, software development and financial technology, previously serving as senior vice president of digital solutions and chief technology officer at Mountain America. Before his 11-year tenure at Mountain America, Albiston co-founded Orbit Medical, focused on the medical equipment industry, where he served as chief information officer and later the chief financial officer. He has also contributed his expertise to several fintech advisory boards and Utah's BoomStartup incubator.
FOODS
" Clear Water Distilling Co., based in Pleasant Grove, has hired Molly Troupe as master distiller. Troupe advanced from being the youngest female master distiller in the United States to become a partner at Freeland Spirits, a woman-owned distillery in Portland, Oregon. She held roles at Hood River Distillers and Oregon Spirit Distillers before she helped launch Freeland Spirits in 2017. Troupe has also held a seat on the board of directors for the American Craft Spirits Association.
HEALTH CARE
" Med One, a Sandy-based provider of health care equipment financing and rental solutions to health care providers, has appointed Sheri Thomas as chief financial officer. Thomas has been a member of Med One's board of directors since 2019 and currently serves as chair of the company's Finance and Audit Committee. A CPA with decades of finance and accounting experience, Thomas previously worked as CFO and vice president of finance and accounting at Coherex Medical Inc., a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson. Most recently, she has been an associate professor of accounting at Brigham Young University.
" Intermountain Logan Regional Hospital has added Leticia Clegg as its first certified child life specialist to help young patients better understand their diagnoses and treatments. She helps children who are receiving emergency and surgical care, outpatient procedures such as blood draws, and supports and encourages inpatient children with their treatment plans, including finding fun ways to help them take medications, walk and eat. Child life services at Intermountain Health are supported entirely by philanthropy and community donations and are free to patients. In the first month of child life services, the hospital experienced about a 90 percent reduction in the number of children needing sedatives in the same-day surgery unit. Clegg is one of 70 child life specialists helping care for children at 11 Intermountain hospitals and care sites.

" Alliant Insurance Services, a California-based specialty broker, has hired Danny Reeder as vice president within its Employee Benefits Group. Based in Utah, Reeder has expertise in self-funding, cost containment and plan optimization to help employers navigate the complexities of employee benefits and health insurance. Reeder has more than 13 years of leadership experience in executive consulting, account management and benefits strategy. Prior to joining Alliant, Reeder was a sales executive with a Utah-based employee benefits and consulting firm. He also has experience in the health and wellness industry, having held a vice president role with a Utah-based distributor and founding his own health and wellness brand. Reeder earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Westminster College.
MANUFACTURING
" SINTX Technologies Inc., a Salt Lake City-based advanced ceramics company focused on medical device applications, has announced changes to its board of directors. It had previously announced that B. Sonny Bal, longtime chairman, would retire and be succeeded by president and CEO Eric Olson. Among the other changes are the appointment of Jay Moyes as lead independent director and the appointment of Chris Lyons, Robert "Bob" Mitchell, Mark Anderson and Gregg Honigblum as board members. Moyes served as chief financial officer of Amedica from 2013 to 2014 and was a board member during the company's 2014 initial public offering and initial listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market. He was also CFO for Myriad Genetics, CareDx and Sera Prognostics. He has experience in capital markets, corporate governance and strategic finance, and has been a board member of multiple private and publicly traded life science companies. Moyes currently serves on the board of directors of Puma Biotechnology and BioCardia. Lyons has more than 35 years of experience in the musculoskeletal and spine markets, with a strong focus on business development, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic growth. He spent 15 years at Smith & Nephew in senior commercial roles before joining Medtronic Spine and Biologics, where he led global business development for over a decade. At Medtronic, he managed acquisitions, investments and partnerships worldwide. In 2018, he founded Southern Metrics Consulting, advising emerging medtech companies on commercialization and successful exits. Mitchell has over three decades of executive leadership experience in global medical device organizations. At Cook Medical, he led five business units and he previously served as vice president of worldwide sales at Align Technology (Invisalign) before becoming CEO of Millimed Holdings in Denmark. He also served as chief operating officer of AngioDynamics and CEO of Nellix. He currently chairs Convi's HR and Governance Committee, is chairman of LifeSeal Vascular and Amecath, and an advisor to TVM Capital Healthcare in Dubai. Anderson has over 35 years of experience in the medical device industry, primarily with Boston Scientific, where he worked in four divisions and managed the company's top customer for nearly nine years. Honigblum has been a long-time supporter of SINTX and its predecessor, Amedica, by being a former board member and early financial backer. He is currently the company's chief strategy officer. His background includes investment banking, founding and scaling of medtech companies and experience in capital formation and business strategy.

" Sportsman's Warehouse Holdings Inc., a West Jordan-based outdoor specialty retailer, has promoted Susan Sanderson to chief marketing officer. Sanderson joined Sportsman's Warehouse in July 2024 as senior vice president of marketing, e-commerce and loyalty. She has over two decades of experience in omnichannel retail and business turnarounds.
