Up for Growth, a Washington, D.C.-based cross-sector advocacy group working to solve the nation’s housing shortage and affordability crisis, has found that housing underproduction in Utah reached a shortage of 61,057 homes in 2021, earning a third-place ranking among U.S. states for the severity of its housing deficit.
