Mountainland Supply buys Ogden Lawn and Garden

Orem-based Mountainland Supply Co. LLC., through its parent company MLSC Holding Co., an employee-owned regional distributor of water, groundwater and construction materials, has acquired Ogden Lawn and Garden LLC., a lawn, garden and grounds equipment supplier based in Ogden.

“We are excited to welcome Ogden Lawn and Garden into our ESOP family at Mountainland Supply. Their long history of customer service and family-oriented approach to business will be a great addition to our company,” said Mountainland Supply CEO Brandon Johnson.

“Northern Utah has been a targeted market for our{mprestriction ids="1,3"} power equipment division for quite some time now,” said Joey Liddle, president of Mountainland Supply. “It will be great to be able to tap into that market and see what our efforts can do for the customer base there.”

Ogden Lawn and Garden was established in in 1979 by Bud, Ross, Brent and Gene Keyes.

Founded in 1947, Mountainland Supply is a 100 percent employee-owned (ESOP) company that specializes in the distribution of waterworks, HVAC, plumbing, turf and agricultural irrigation, pump and drilling products, power equipment, tools and safety supplies to contractors, municipalities, institutions, mining, non-residential and residential end markets in the western and midwestern United States.
