A San Diego-based high-tech company will add to its Utah presence, increasing its headcount in the state by up to 50 jobs.

General Atomics-CCRi will add the jobs in a 10,000-square-foot expansion in Lehi.

The company develops and deploys artificial intelligence-enabled advanced analytics and software to deliver real-time situational awareness and actionable intelligence for its clients. Over the past 10 years, GA-CCRi has been focused on geospatial storage, visualization and analysis, and has developed applications used by the U.S. Department of Defense, the intelligence community and commercial customers.

“GA-CCRi is excited about the opportunity to establish our office and expand our footprint in this ever-growing tech community of Lehi,” said Brian Ralston, GA-CCRi president. “The space and amenities will greatly enhance our current operations, enable us to grow with an expanded customer base, and allow us to continue to attract and retain outstanding technical talent.”

“Lehi City is excited to welcome General Atomics-CCRi to the heart of Silicon Slopes, and we look forward to working with them as they continue to grow,” said Marlin Eldred, the city’s economic development director. “As an industry leader in software engineering and data analytics, CCRi takes data and turns it into knowledge for companies. This exemplifies what Silicon Slopes is about and demonstrates the strengths of the technology sector in Utah.”

Scott Cuthbertson, president and CEO of the Economic Development Corporation of Utah, said the expansion is “an important win for tech and aerospace in Utah. General Atomics has made significant investments in Utah, and we’re happy to see that continue with CCRI’s expansion.”
