FinWise Bank, a subsidiary of FinWise Bancorp, has promoted James Noone to president of the Murray-based institution. The appointment was approved by the bank’s board and took effect in late March. Noone succeeds Kent Landvatter, who will remain CEO and chairman of the board. Landvatter is president and CEO of FinWise Bancorp.

Noone joined the FinWise Bank in February 2018 and was named executive vice president and chief credit officer in June 2018. He was named chief strategy officer of the bank in October 2022. Noone has 20 years of financial services experience, including commercial banking, investment banking and private equity. He graduated with degrees in finance and accounting from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He currently resides in Draper.
