Germany-based airline Lufthansa has announced the introduction of flight service from Salt Lake City to Frankfurt, Germany, on its new leisure airline Eurowings Discovery. The new carrier already services several U.S. destinations, including Fort Myers and Tampa in Florida and Las Vegas.{mprestriction ids="1,3"}

It is a great and unique addition to our flight schedule, as well as a valuable extension of the Lufthansa Group network in the U.S.”
The new flights depart Frankfurt at 11:15 a.m. German time and arrives in Salt Lake City at 2:10 p.m. Mountain Time. The return flight departs Salt Lake City International Airport at 3:40 p.m. and arrives in Frankfurt at 10:10 a.m. the following day. The flights will operate Monday, Wednesday and Friday throughout the summer schedule, from May 23 through Oct. 14, and will resume once again during the 2023 summer schedule. Flights will be operated with either an Airbus 330-300 or an Airbus 330-200 aircraft.{/mprestriction}
