Salt Lake City-based law firm Fabian VanCott has acquired estate, tax and business planning firm Sloan & Sloan. Fabian VanCott said the Salt Lake City firm will help round out its tax and estate planning practice group.

Sloan & Sloan is made up of seven attorneys headed by David E. Sloan and Stephen R. Sloan and is licensed in six jurisdictions.{mprestriction ids="1,3"} The firm’s attorneys have represented clients in tax and other matters in Utah District Court, the Utah Supreme Court, Federal District Court for the State of Utah, the U.S. Tax Court and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Attorneys joining Fabian VanCott are Mark F. Dahle Jr., William J. Whitaker, Jennifer A. Whitlock, Richard W. Evans and David E. Salisbury.
