Legend Solar, based in Washington, has appointed Jed Alldredge as president.

The company said his main responsibilities will be managing day-to-day operations to help Legend Solar “fine-tune its processes and strategy for continued growth.” The company added that the move provides co-founders and co-owners Shane Perkins and Shaun Alldredge with more time to focus on strategic efforts in guiding the company.

Legend Solar provides solar power for businesses and homes. It was established in 2012. It has been expanding throughout Utah, Nevada and Oregon, with future expansion plans for Arizona, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.

“Jed is a seasoned business leader who has served on our board since the beginning of the company,” Perkins said. “His strategic and operations experience in consulting with both small and large companies will help lead our company successfully as we expand throughout the West.”

“I’m thrilled to join one of the best solar providers in the nation, helping manage fast-paced growth, so we can continue to serve customers in our ‘legendary’ way,” Jed Alldredge said. “I’ve helped numerous companies manage their high-growth periods, and I can apply that knowledge to help Legend Solar during this exciting time.”

Jed Alldredge has more than 30 years of experience in international business management, marketing, communications and consulting. He was founder of the Millennia Group, a management and communications consulting firm for businesses ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies in a variety of industries, including technology, finance, transportation, hospitality and energy.
