Rodney R. Parker, a shareholder at Snow Christensen & Martineau, has been appointed president of the firm. His appointment was effective Jan. 1.
Parker replaces Andrew M. Morse, who has served as the firm’s president since 2011. Parker leads the firm’s appellate practice. His practice focuses on civil and criminal appeals, product liability, family law and general litigation.{mprestriction ids="1,3"} He has been an attorney at Snow Christensen for the past 35 years.
Parker graduated magna cum laude from the University of Utah in 1980 with a bachelor’s degree in business. He graduated from the S.J. Quinney College of Law in 1983. He served as associate deputy attorney general on the staff of the deputy attorney general of the United States in Washington, D.C., from 1988 to 1989. In that position, he exercised the division’s oversight function for the Lands and Natural Resources Division and the Civil Division.{/mprestriction}
