Rocky Mountain Power’s Blue Sky program is now accepting funding applications for renewable energy projects. The program, funded by more than 44,000 Blue Sky customers, is available to help cover the cost of installing renewable energy systems for non-residential, community-serving organizations within the Rocky Mountain Power service area. Those systems include solar, wind and geothermal, among other.
“Rocky Mountain Power selects projects that are innovative, have high visibility and educational value in the community,” said Keven Hoopiiaina, renewable energy program manager at Rocky Mountain Power. “Our Blue Sky customers have made these projects possible and are helping to create a more sustainable energy future in their communities.”

This year the program expects to have close to $2 million available for new renewable energy projects.
Applicants can submit a completed application form along with supporting materials by 5 p.m. on Dec. 29. Information is available at bluesky@pacificorp.com.{/mprestriction}
