Adam Barker
ARUP Laboratories, a Salt Lake City-based national reference laboratory and a nonprofit enterprise of the University of Utah and its Department of Pathology, has appointed Adam Barker as chief scientific officer, a role in which he will lead the newly formed New Technologies Group. Barker joined ARUP in 2010 as a fellow in microbiology. He went on to become a medical director before being named associate director of research and development and later director of R&D, a position he had held since 2017.
