Valley Behavioral Health, the largest and most diverse behavioral health service provider in Utah, is pleased to announce that Preston Cochrane has been hired as Operations Director. Cochrane, who has served in a variety of diverse executive leadership roles, most recently as the Executive Director at Shelter the Homeless stated, “I am excited to be joining the Valley team. We are seeing unprecedented physical, social, and economic pressures that are increasing emotional suffering for many people. I believe Valley is well-positioned to providing the most effective mental and behavioral health services for individuals and families dealing with life challenges.” “Preston’s extensive leadership experience and background will help Valley strengthen existing community partnerships, develop new strategic alliances and improve our programs and services,” said Gary Larcenaire, President and Chief Executive Officer of Valley Behavioral Health. Prior to joining Valley Behavioral Health, Cochrane had held executive-level positions at Shelter the Homeless, American Research Bureau, and AAA Fair Credit Foundation. He has also served as a board member with several local and national nonprofit organizations. Cochrane is a former EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Award winner, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah, and speaks Vietnamese.
