Melissa Reynolds
Melissa assists clients on complex litigation and enforcement issues involving natural resources, with an emphasis on water quality and water rights. Melissa’s in-depth experience working with Utah state agencies allows her to navigate challenges associated with complex environmental compliance, litigation, and enforcement issues for her clients. Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Melissa worked for the Utah Attorney General’s Office: Natural Resources division, where she acted as general counsel to the State Engineer. Melissa also represented the Division of Oil, Gas and Mining in enforcement matters and participated in settlement negotiations on behalf of the Division. Melissa received her J.D. and an Environmental and Natural Resources Law Certificate from S.J. Quinney College of Law and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah.
