Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah is pleased to welcome Audrey Glasby as its strategic communications manager, effective immediately. In this position, she will lead communications initiatives in support of Regence’s dedication to transforming health care for its nearly 550,000 members, businesses and community partners throughout Utah. Glasby brings more than 20 years of public relations experience to the role. She most recently served as PR and marketing communications director at HCA MountainStar Healthcare for the past 13 years. Before that, Glasby produced and managed PR programs for multiple clients across several industries at Bremer Public Relations. “Audrey’s passion for communications and empowering the public with valuable health care information will further our efforts to create a better, simpler and more affordable experience for our members,” said Jim Swayze, president of Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah. “With her extensive industry and market experience, she will be a great asset for our team and those we serve.” Glasby is now the dedicated strategic communications manager for Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah. She inherits the market responsibilities from Lou Riepl, who previously served Regence in both Idaho and Utah. Riepl will work closely with Glasby throughout the fall to ensure a successful transition, and subsequently focus exclusively on Idaho as the strategic communications manager for Regence BlueShield.
