Ruth A. Shapiro
Snow Christensen Martineau, P.C. (SCM), is proud to announce that Ruth A. Shapiro has been elected as the Utah Defense Lawyers Association Legacy Award winner of 2018-2019. Ms. Shapiro’s practice focuses on personal injury defense and employment matters. She is a well-respected trial attorney defending catastrophic injury, wrongful death, employment, product liability, and premises liability cases. In her 25 plus years of practice, Ms. Shapiro has averaged two trials per year. Ruth has numerous defense jury verdicts in a variety of cases. The “Legacy Award” is given to those meeting the following criteria: (1) the devotion of at least 75% of their practice to the defense of insurance companies or their insureds; (2) for at least 15 years; and (3) excellent and distinguished service in this area. Ms. Shapiro received her J.D. from Marquette University Law School.
