Mark Nord
The Utah Inland Port Authority has appointed Mark Nord as director of real estate and development in the Northwest Quadrant Project Area. Among his primary responsibilities, he will lead efforts to remediate and prepare the North Temple Landfill for future uses. Nord has over two decades of leadership and expertise in community development, strategic partnerships, and industrial and commercial real estate projects. He previously was economic development director for West Valley City, and he served as deputy mayor of Provo City and as a state lobbyist, exemplifying a background in government relations, policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement. Nord holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Utah.
