The Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing recently completed a two-week sting investigation targeting fraudulent construction activity.

The undercover operation was part of a national effort by members of the National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies (NASCLA). Utah investigators issued a total of two criminal cases and 94 administrative citations for unlicensed activity or activity beyond the scope of a license. Last year’s sting investigation yielded 45 citations for unlawful activity.
